Volunteer Opportunity: Social Media Coordinator

VAC is looking for a social media savvy volunteer to join our team! If you are interested in social media management and want the opportunity to manage an Instagram page with over 4,500 followers and Facebook account with nearly 1,500 members, send us an email outlining your experience with social media and why you want to volunteer with VAC.

Position Overview:

  • 5 per week (flexible)

  • Location: remote

  • Supports Executive Director with leading social media

  • Manage VAC's online presence by developing strategy and promoting projects and campaigns

  • Curate and schedule art submissions on Later

  • Find art submissions through Instagram to post on VAC's page

  • Engage with audience by liking and commenting on posts with the hashtag #vancouverartcommunity and managing inbox

  • Sharing community events and call outs on VAC's stories

  • Content creation when needed (promote events etc.)

  • Help grow VAC's reach and audience
