Le HangArt

Thanks to our connections in the Vancouver Art Community, I had the pleasure of meeting Robert Plante, Gallery Director at Le HangArt. Le HangArt has been open on 2239 Granville Street for over 8 weeks now and has already seen a boom in their insta followers and a rise in artists and clientele. Their first location began in Montreal and has represented East coast artists for many years. In fact, they have a published magazine (in English and French) and a beautiful website displaying the selection of art they have and descriptions of their current artists!

When Robert decided to move to Vancouver, he agreed to opening another location and immediately began establishing ties with West Coast artists. He mentioned that he was impressed by the quality of art and felt that artists are underrepresented in B.C. He views his gallery as an "agency to communicate and promote" artists and their work. Currently the gallery features work from both east and west coast Canadian artists and includes paintings, graphics and sculptures. There are about 30 local artists' work in the gallery right now however, Robert is always open to seeking new talent. After 2 successful months since their grand opening, Robert has high hopes for Le HangArt and aims to build his network in Vancouver to promote our amazing artists.

So, if you are an emerging artist ready to sell your work and looking for someone to make it happen and give you heartfelt and truthful advice, I encourage you to reach out to Robert. He is kind, friendly and honest. He strives to support artists and provide a range of art in his gallery at accessible prices.

Thank you for taking the time to meet with me Robert! It was such a pleasure.
