Call for Calendar Submissions

VAC is partnering with Macdonald Realty to feature artwork from local artists for their 2023 calendar. The calendar will feature 12 paintings and include a short bio from selected artists, as well as their name, and the title of the piece. Over 6,000 copies will be distributed across BC, so this is a great opportunity for local artists to share their artwork!

The artwork theme for the 2023 calendar will be BC Lifestyle (ex. homes/cabins, nature, still life, landscapes, etc). Please keep in mind that submitted artwork needs to be appropriate for a real estate company. You can submit up to three pieces. Application submissions will be judged by Macdonald Realty who will select the artists to be featured in the 2023 calendar.

Criteria for Submissions:
-Artwork must be a painting (oil, acrylic, etc.)
-Artwork needs to be landscape format to fit the dimensions of the calendar
-Artwork must fit the curatorial theme of the real estate calendar (BC Lifestyle)
-Uploaded artwork needs to be a minimum 1000 KB / 300 dpi
-You can submit between 1–3 artwork pieces for review

We want to thank all artists for applying—we wish could choose everyone! But only those artists who are selected will be contacted. The artwork will be judged and curated by Macdonald Realty.
